Shamil Bank to Open New Outlet in Zinj

Shamil Bank is set to open its new Zinj branch in November 2005 according to an official press release issued yesterday. The opening will be followed shortly by the closure of its Manama branch located at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry building. The measure will effectively make Zinj the seventh outlet in the Shamil network of branches.

According to Mohamed Hussain, Chief Executive of the Bank Zinj area has been chosen for the new outlet due to its growing commercial importance and being a strategic location. The objective is to serve our customers living in the surrounding areas of Zinj.

The branch interior design has been developed by 3D International in coordination with the creative consultants Vision Advertising. 3D International is one of Bahrain's leading interior contracting companies. "We are proud to be associated with Shamil Bank for the fit-out of their new branch at Zinj. We wish them success all the way" says Arjun Rana, General Manager of 3D International.

Mr. Tariq Bahar, Head of Retail Banking at Shamil Bank said that “the new branch interior will be most contemporary in terms of the dynamic design features, outlines and profiles as well as the material used in the construction and fit-outs. Upon completion, the overall ambience will be an extraordinary experience for the branch visitors – a lasting impression they will be taking back with them. The space planning is a whole new concept in customer services. Unlike other conventional designs, the teller counters at the branch will not be the main areas of activity. The customers will be welcomed to the customer services desks where they will be given personalized service by the financial consultants.”

Other important features include an onsite ATM, online banking facility and ample car parking around the branch.
