Shamil Bank of Bahrain, a leading Bahrain-based commercial and investment bank in Bahrain, is lending its support to the Crown Prince’s Training Programme for Youth for the second year in a row. Shamil Bank Assistant Manager of Corporate Banking, Abdulla Hussain Al Mulla is working closely with high school students Amani Sayed Ali Al Tooblani and Hatem Abdulhameed, two top students selected fro the programme. Guided by Al Mulla, Amani and Hatem are conducting a research project which seeks to answer the question: “How can an establishment best contribute towards developing the Kingdom of Bahrain's economy in the next five years?” Al Mulla is passing on working experience and knowledge gained through taking part in a variety of training courses offered by the Bank.

"It has always been a policy of Shamil Bank’s to support activities which aid in the improvement of the country and its citizens. The Bank’s Management is keen to build strong channels of co-operation with Bahrain’s important institutions and we applaud the valuable youth programmes offered by Crown Prince's Court,” said Shamil Bank Chief Executive, Mohammed Hussain. “We wish the project every success and hope that it will serve as an important stepping stone towards the students’ personal development,” he added.

The Bank’s participation in the programme is being co-ordinated by Assistant Manager, Unit of Training and Development, Enas Mohammed Rahimi, who has arranged meetings with bank officers working in different departments in order to provide the students with information they may need.

"The students will gain invaluable practical experience through training in a real work environment and interacting with Shamil Bank employees,” said Ithmaar Bank Managing Director, Group Support Ahmed Abdul Rahim.
“Shamil Bank, an integral part of the Ithmaar banking group, is pleased to be able to support this valuable programme offered by the Crown Prince’s Court, which aims to invest in sharpening the talents of promising young students.”
