Shamil Bank Supports Crown Prince’s Training
Program for Youth

Shamil Bank of Bahrain,
a leading Bahrain-based commercial and investment
bank in Bahrain, is lending its support to the
Crown Prince’s Training Programme for Youth
for the second year in a row.
Shamil Bank Assistant Manager of Corporate Banking,
Abdulla Hussain Al Mulla is working closely with
high school students Amani Sayed Ali Al Tooblani
and Hatem Abdulhameed, two top students selected
fro the programme. Guided by Al Mulla, Amani and
Hatem are conducting a research project which
seeks to answer the question: “How can an
establishment best contribute towards developing
the Kingdom of Bahrain's economy in the next five
years?” Al Mulla is passing on working experience
and knowledge gained through taking part in a
variety of training courses offered by the Bank.
"It has always been a policy of Shamil Bank’s
to support activities which aid in the improvement
of the country and its citizens. The Bank’s
Management is keen to build strong channels of
co-operation with Bahrain’s important institutions
and we applaud the valuable youth programmes offered
by Crown Prince's Court,” said Shamil Bank
Chief Executive, Mohammed Hussain. “We wish
the project every success and hope that it will
serve as an important stepping stone towards the
students’ personal development,” he
added.
The Bank’s participation in the programme
is being co-ordinated by Assistant Manager, Unit
of Training and Development, Enas Mohammed Rahimi,
who has arranged meetings with bank officers working
in different departments in order to provide the
students with information they may need.
"The students will gain invaluable practical
experience through training in a real work environment
and interacting with Shamil Bank employees,”
said Ithmaar Bank Managing Director, Group Support
Ahmed Abdul Rahim.
“Shamil Bank, an integral part of the Ithmaar
banking group, is pleased to be able to support
this valuable programme offered by the Crown Prince’s
Court, which aims to invest in sharpening the
talents of promising young students.”
