Shamil Bank in collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity and Water has introduced a unique bill payment service called EasyPay.
With EasyPay from Shamil Bank you pay a fixed amount every month towards your electricity and water bill. It allows you to be in better control of your monthly budget. It also saves you from late payments or queuing up at the bill payment counters.
This convenience service is available to Shamil Bank customers through a few simple steps:
- If you are not a Shamil customer, kindly open an account.
- Visit any electricity billing office and fill in the service application forms available at the billing counters.
- Upon acceptance of your application, EasyPay will start paying your ‘averaged’ electricity bill every month on your behalf, for a period of one year, subject to sufficient amount in your account.
- You will continue to receive the Electricity bill to monitor your monthly payments against your actual consumption.
- At the end of the year, you will make your year end debit/credit settlement directly with the Electricity department.
- Once the final year-end settlement is done, you will fill in another application form to avail the service for the following year.
