Shamil Bank, a leading Bahrain-based commercial and investment bank and a wholly owned subsidiary of Ithmaar Bank, has concluded its second consecutive year participating in a Leadership Program developed by the Court of H.H. Shaikh Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince And Deputy Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Defence Force.
This year the bank trained four top–performing local students: Ali Murtadha Abbas Ali Haji, Muhjah Abdulrazzaq Fulath, Noof Hayel Algahtani and Sajedah Fadhel Ahmed Alasfoor.
Coordinated by Shamil Bank’s Assistant Manager, Training and Development Unit, Enas Rahimi, the Program provided students with the opportunity to gain hands-on banking experience with guidance from mentors and professionals. Shamil Bank’s senior management team interacted closely with the students, offering them real- world examples and case studies from their professional experience.

As a result of its efforts, Shamil Bank has established close partnerships with various community institutions especially the Crown Prince’s Court and its constructive Programs. The Crown Prince’s Leadership Program is vital to the development of tomorrow’s youth; training and developing Bahrain’s young adults is an integral part of the bank’s achievements.”
Abdul A.Rahim underlined his personal commitment to the Crown Prince Leadership team consisting of students and staff members and reiterated the bank’s efforts to serve the Program in the long term.
The two week Program is designed to help students enhance their research, presentation, problem solving and communication skills with the aim of molding them into effective leaders.
Shamil Bank participated in H.H. the Crown Prince’s ‘Leadership Program’ as part of its ongoing commitment to the local community. In addition to the leadership Program, the bank has hosted various other training and internship opportunities for Bahraini students to foster their development and assist the Kingdom in creating a skilled, dynamic workforce.
Established in 2003, the Leadership Program was initiated by the Court of H.H. the Crown Prince in order to nurture the Kingdom’s youth and to assist them in making a positive contribution to the future of the nation.
