The Al Aseel Islamic Equity Fund (the “Fund”) is an open-ended Fund investing in a portfolio of selected Sharia’a compliant equity securities listed on the stock exchanges of Gulf Cooperation Council (“GCC”) countries. The Fund uses a research driven approach towards identifying and investing in suitably valued stocks, with the objective of producing attractive investment returns over the medium to long term in compliance with Sharia’a investment guidelines.

  For Local individual Investors (in the Kingdom of Bahrain):
    1) Permanent address (including residence address)
    2) Current Occupation
    3) Employer’s name and address
    4) Copy of relevant pages of valid passport
    5) Copy of Valid CPR/ID
     
  Foreign Individual Investors (from outside the Kingdom of Bahrain):
    1) Permanent address in full (including residence address)
    2) Current Occupation
    3) Employer’s name and address
    4) Copy of relevant pages of valid passport verified by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain
 
  For Local Institutional Investors (in the Kingdom of Bahrain):
    1) Official Registered Address
    2) Legal Form
    3) Business Activity
    4) Board of Directors resolution approving subscription in the Fund
    5) Board of Directors resolution approving authorized signatories to sign the Subscription Agreement
    6) Certification of incorporation and/or Certificate of Commercial Registration
    7) Memorandum of Association
    8) Articles of Association
    9) Partnership Agreement (if applicable)
     
  For Foreign Institutional Investors (from outside the Kingdom of Bahrain):
  The same documents requested from local institutional investors are requested from foreign institutional investors in addition to the following special considerations:
    1) Board of Directors resolution approving subscription in the Fund (the original copy of the board resolution should be verified or a certified copy obtained)
    2) Board of Directors resolution approving authorized signatories to sign the Subscription Agreement (the original copy of the Board resolution should be verified or certified copy obtained)
    3) All documents should be verified by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
